Vaison is a town steeped in history with noteworthy remains from its prosperous Roman past on the right bank, and on the left bank the medieval town, the two joined by  a still used Roman bridge. Its lively Place Monfort, under 10 minutes walk from the house, is famous for its restaurants, pavement cafés and boutiques which abound in this incredible Proven&cal town. Don't miss a visit  to the Tuesday street market  so typical of Provence or one of the many internationally famous concerts during L'Eté de Vaison which are often staged in the Roman theater. The surrounding area has much to offer too, with sites of immense natural beauty around Mont Ventoux and Nyons, historic towns and villages, and the wine growing area of the Côtes du Rhône.

Main entry to the house is over the covered terrace into a hall off which are doors to the excellently fitted and equipped kitchen/breakfast room (with dishwasher), a sitting/dining room which also has access to the covered terrace, two bedrooms (one twin bedroom and one double bedroom), a bathroom, seperate WC and a storeroom with washing machine.


An open terrace runs the length of the house and beyond is the garden with trees, flowers and shrubs with sunny and shady areas around the pool.  There is parking on the property and the house has a telephone.
