Rent this charming stone farmhouse, with large garden and swimming
pool, that has splendid views of surrounding countryside. Near villages
with all services, including restaurants. 10 minutes from medieval market
town of Figeac, 30 mins from Cahors with magnificent bridge of the the
river Lot. Located in the exceptionally beautiful Parc Naturel Regional
des Causses du Quercy.
Nearest airports are - Limoges (75 minutes), Toulouse (90 minutes) and
Carcassone (2 hours away). There is a railway station at Figeac

THE HOUSE
The property has a gated entrance and is set in over 7,000 squares
metres of garden along with a large separate barn that has also been partly
restored by the current owner. Renovation work on the main house has been
carefully managed and styled so that much of the old charm is retained
including the pigeonnier, the original stonework, inglenook fireplace,
stone bread oven and exposed wooden beams.

A working farm adjoins the property and it enjoys unrestricted views of
the surrounding countryside.
DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION
Ground Floor
The ground floor is open plan with the main front door opening into the
sitting room with TV/Video and a bed-settee. The
living room leads into the dining room, that in turn leads to large,
well-equipped kitchen and separate utility room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher,
washing machine, dryer, gas hob, electric oven and microwave
oven. The kitchen has patio doors that open onto a sun terrace
with table, chairs, parasol and a specially constructed barbecue area.
From the living room a couple of steps lead to a double bedroom
with double bed, fitted wardrobes, en-suite bathroom and separate
WC.
First Floor
A wooden staircase leads from the living room to the first floor where
there are three double bedrooms, each with built-in wardrobes and
twin beds. There is a shower room and separate WC on the
first floor.
Garden
The property has a gated entrance and outside, there is a grass lawn,
a parking area for several cars and a paved sun terrace leading to a 9m
by 5m swimming pool that is fenced in. There is an area for volleyball
and plenty of space in the garden for children to play safely.

*There is a large barn on the property, located at a discreet distance
from the main house. It is partially converted containing a small apartment
that is occasionally occupied by the owner.

AND SURROUNDING AREA
This charming
stone farmhouse, dating back 300 years, has been carefully renovated and
is located in the Department du Lot, in the small village of Reyrevignes,
just 10 minutes drive from the market town of Figeac with its medieval
architecture and all amenities.
Some 30 miles north-east of Cahors, Reyrevignes is within the "Parc
Naturel Regional des Causses du Quercy", an area designated for its
outstanding natural beauty. Reyrevignes has a bakery producing fresh bread
daily.
The larger villages of Livernon and Assier are both just 4.5km away. Both
have Bar/Restaurants as well as bakery, butcher and other convenience
shops.
The surrounding area has many attractive towns and villages including
the world famous Rocamadour. Others include Gramat, St Cirq Lapopie, and
Labastide-Murat.
From Figeac, the river Cele and the river Lot wind their separate ways
through some beautiful scenery then merge before flowing through the historic
city of Cahors. Canoeing is a popular summer pastime.
To the north-east it is a short drive into Le Jardin du Segala with its
rolling landscape and lakes, such as Le Lac du Tolerme, a popular recreation
area.
The entire Lot region is world famous for both its food and its wines.
ACCESS
The property is conveniently reached from the new A20 motorway that runs
down the heart of France from south of Paris to Toulouse. From junction
56 of the motorway, approximately 30 miles north of Cahors, a new link
road connects the motorway with the town of Figeac. The village of Reyrevignes
is approximately a 20 minute drive from the junction 56 of the A20 on
the road to Figeac.
Limoges airport is around a 1.25 hour motorway (A20) drive to the north.
Toulouse airport is around a 1.5 hour motorway (A20) drive to the south
and the airport at Carcassone is 2 hours away by the same motorway. Bergerac
airport is also approximately a 2 hour drive but is only accessible using
country roads.

11.00am on the Saturday of departure.
2-week minimum booking during the period July 20th to August 31st.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.

The balance
is payable in full not later than 4 weeks prior to occupancy.
A security deposit of £200 (Euros 300, US$300) is required with the final
rental payment that can be returned to the renter at the end of the holiday.
With confirmation of the arrival of your cheque we will send a detailed
map showing how to get to the property.
Prices include water, electricity, gas and pool maintenance. Blankets and
pillows are provided but guests are expected to provide their own bed linen
and towels. Bed linen and towels can be provided at a cost of £10 (Euros
15, US$ 15) per person per booking. Pool towels are not provided. The house
has central heating and is therefore available off-season, prices available
on request. The house is fully furnished. - Sorry - no pets allowed - No
guest telephone is available so guests are advised to bring their own mobile
phone. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Guests are expected to
leave the property as they find it.
